The visitor visa is a type of non-immigrant (temporary) visa for individuals desiring to enter the United States for short periods for business (B-1) or for pleasure, tourism or medical treatment (B-2). In addition, nationals of certain countries may be eligible to enter the U.S. for 90 days or less on the Visa Waiver Program.
